Brad had the fastest single lap but some of the other guys had faster average speeds.

Kenseth had the best 10 consecutive lap average.

That's what I always watch. Where was Kez on the 10 average?

Thanks D500. He's in good shape for the race.

With three races remaining, it's now time that some decisions were made and #1 is how aggressive can #2 & #48 be.

Do they go full out and risk a 35th place finish?

Do they play a cat & mouse game while Bowyer/Kahne have the hammer down or take chances and try to extend a lead so they can ride around homestead?

Running out of fuel at Texas can pretty much kill and championship hopes.

Finally, who dictates the pace, the points leader or those chasing the leader?

Interesting angles abound. I like the fuel strategy scenario. If someone decides to go that route and then gets burned by a late yellow and a GWC, it would serve them right.

I would love to see Kahne and Bowyer get right back in it. Either of those 2 deserve a championship. I would like Kez to get it, but I'm also in the 'anyone but JJ' camp for the next couple of years.

One small slip or dropped lug nut on pit road by the top 2 can bring Bowyer and/or Kahne right back into it. Hamlin runs good at Texas and has a fast car this weekend but it's going to take a big blunder by 4 different drivers to get him in contention. Certainly could happen but I wouldn't put my money on it.

I think that they have to both go for the win . The only thing different is that they have to mirror the other's pit stop strategy .One can't allow the other to get out of sync.

that's the big mistake the #2 made at Charlotte. The second was not filling the car and running out.

Johnson is a champion because he knows when to push it and when to take only what it has to give. This should be one hell of a race.

Harvick's car damaged by a skydiver before the race... anyone have any more info? what exactly was damaged?

The 29 had a dent in the drivers door. They hammered it out but talk about karma.

Skydiver had a sandbag hanging off the tail of the flag which nailed the left door of the 29 and put some pretty good dents in it.

Tough set up for today’s race. My DirectTV receiver went crazy freeze framing and their mailing me a new or refurbished one that will arrive in a few days. Me and the wife disagreed about my intentions to move the bedroom receiver to the living room for the race. I watched the WoO show in the bedroom and the F1 race, and wanted a better option.

So I ran RCA cables from the bedroom to the Living Room and its working. One of the three wasn’t long enough even using in line connectors, so I spliced it.

Must be a bar with a big screen and cold beer around you somewhere.
