Texas Cup

Must be a bar with a big screen and cold beer around you somewhere.

I needed to work on some documents for work (casually) while watching the race. Besides even if I was a drinker I dont like the distractions during a race.

Tough set up for today’s race. My DirectTV receiver went crazy freeze framing and their mailing me a new or refurbished one that will arrive in a few days. Me and the wife disagreed about my intentions to move the bedroom receiver to the living room for the race. I watched the WoO show in the bedroom and the F1 race, and wanted a better option.

So I ran RCA cables from the bedroom to the Living Room and its working. One of the three wasn’t long enough even using in line connectors, so I spliced it.

I won't even get started on DirecTV. Everyone sat on here for months telling me to get DirecTV and how great they were, and I get extremely crappy standard definition television (which gets worse by the day) to show for it.

Everyone? I don't think I did, Andy :D

Harvick's car damaged by a skydiver before the race... anyone have any more info? what exactly was damaged?

Nicely done, 007. ;)

...and the economy is the single reason that nobody can afford to go to the track anymore.

So why are the ratings falling?

I'm so sick of everyone using the economy as an excuse for NASCAR's problems. The product genuinely sucks most of the time and people are no longer buying the crappy product.

I'm gonna need to start drinking some caffeine in order to stay awake for this entire race!

This is just like the movie Groundhog day, no kidding...

Golf channel is available, just grab the remote out of your purse and change the channel from this crappy man sport :D

Wow...you all are right! Those stands aren't even half full!

I turned this "race" on the second the Jaguars game ended. Every single car is separated by five seconds. So, I turned off the race and turned on another football game. That's not Barack Obama's fault. That's not the economy's fault. That's NASCAR's fault for continuing to think the fans want to see races at these tracks that were designed for an entirely different form of racing.

I watched that game too! I was excited because it was the one time my team was pretty much a guarantee to win.

Must admit that I was expecting a better race today but hopefully things will pick up after a while.

Wow, you're a Jaguars fan? That explains why his NASCAR stuff is pissing you off.

I watched an exciting Texas Cup race one time where they were three wide all race and had a photofinish. Then I woke up.

Keep on watching. I'm sure you'll find something of interest along the way, eventually.
