Yep, we talked about that over on the Monkey site. I saw them in '68 at the Santa Monica Civic and the next year when they cam back at the Anaheim Convention Center.
I told this story to NAZ once, but we were on they way to a place in Hollywood called the Roxi. Some friends of ours were playing there, a group called the Leaves. We drove right past the Whisky and on the marquee it read, CREAM. We looked at each other and asked, Who the hell is Cream. A few weeks later, they started playing their stuff on FM and we kicked ourselves in the ass :mad: True story :(

Been about 10 years since I've played within a group. Last band was an odd mixture of folk and traditional stuff. I called it Punk Folk. 2 ladies wrote the music, two distinctly different styles. Me on bass a drummer and the String Master. He played fiddle, guitar and mandolin. We played one hell of a version of All Along the Watchtower with a fiddle lead.
 
My 1968 Fender Telecaster and my cheapie Johnson acoustic. Been cartin the Tele around since 1972. Only bass I've evered cared to own.

I'd have a live tree if the dog did not try eat it. Grew up with a live tree and Christmas is a time for memories.

I have two indoor cats. They haven't been bad about the trees, either one. They do love to sleep under it though.

We've had artificial for years, but Petunia is gonna get a live one for my homecoming, :whoopee:

SCRfan is/was...but he hasn't moved here yet. In fact, I have heard from him in quite some time. Hope he's ok.
His style of writing is very hard to understand...but once you get used to it...it's readable.

Yeah, we get his writing style but when the locals here read his posts....it'll be like WTF :wacko:
 
One thing I really have to say is that the NFP group really care about each other. I think you guys will find we also care for our members and now that includes you!
 
I am not seeing some of NFP members move over yet like Swinny, Liz's boy, Carl, Mars, Amanda.... i wonder if they will move over?
