I know about hard times. I'm learning how to make the big decisions by myself after 45 years of leaning on my husband. Lost him to
cancer 2 years ago. It's hard to stand on my own when I've always leaned on his strength.

My first track was Talladega. He won the Busch and the Cup that weekend. He ran out of gas after crossing the S/F line. I think that was the race everyone got heated about saying he passed below the yellow line. Didn't bother me after watching the Hendrick cars box him in so he couldn't go forward. He beat on the back end of the 48 until they had to let him go. Unfortunately I never saw Dale at the track either. :(

Sorry to hear about your loss TRL. I had a hard time being self reliant after my divorce. Now I don't know any other way to be.
 
Morning all. We got a little break in the weather here in Glendora, but another storm is coming in tonight. Crews are working around the clock doing the best they can to prepare for heavy rain.

Good Morning Haywired. The streets look nice and clear. Any flooding anywhere?
 
Not yet. Another big storm is supposed to move in later today that's going to drop a lot more. Hopefully there won't be too much damage. In 1969 we had a bad one here and a lot of people got caught in it.

Good afternoon Randy. I got my outside lights up this morning. I've been doing a little indoors here and there. I still haven't put up a tree.
 
I think I'm done outside. it's so easy to go overboard....I don't think I did....our tree isn't up yet, but it won't be long...
 
Hang in there Haywired, don't forget to wear your water wings. It's been raining hard up here too. But weather forecasters say that these storms are just one drop in our severe drought and we need 10 more storms like these to get out from under it. :cheers:
