That is really a harsh thing to say about Skoal … but oh so true … most have no clue about some of the crap he pulled …

I hope you find a good place for your dad … I remember years back when we tried to find a place for my grandfather who was 97 at the time and he was flat against leaving his home … my mom ended up moving in and was able to arrange health care workers to come in daily … 2 years later he passed in his home that he had lived in since 1957 … he got his wish …

We'll see. There's always the Podium I guess. I don't think I'll be going there.. but being a noisey human, I might want to take a quick look. I took one look at the Basement and never returned. lol
 
Wow just hear a storm comen maybe 3 more inches of rain things are looking good weather wise...

Thanks CN.. we were looking at doing something like that awhile back but my dad sold his house in Georgia. I still think that might have worked but am not sure the rest of my siblings do. But we found several good places here so it's a matter of getting him moved in... he has to move up here from Georgia, so getting him here and all the assessments and logistics addressed is the next step. Timing is kind of bad with Christmas and all But anyway, he seems good with moving into a facility. The one we picked is nice. All residents are ambulatory, and they have a lot of activities. He doesn't need a high level of care, but the little bit he will need will be very helpful.

I get the nosey part … I would like to take a quick peak too … the basement was just as bad as the general section at TR (except for the Annex) … a whole lot of nastiness …

Bummer … I wish things here would cool down some … 2 weeks ago we had 3 days in a row where we hit 90 and with the humidity the heat index was around 105 … I would like to give my A/C a vacation … lol …

It was amazing the Annex lived on at TR. But we ignored any trouble makers who came in. LOL

Oh yeah. it means a lot to be able to turn the a/c off. Those are terrible temps for winter.. IMO, some would like it.

Yes I am I keep waiting for her to pop up jump on me wanting to be scratched or just seeing her B-Bop out of Jessica's room go have a bite to eat and pounce back. I haven't told Jessica yet either its there 5th Anniversary and they been out and don't want to ruin her day......last night when I got up to go get a rink of water she wasn't there to try to trip me up like she did......

oh boy....see how long he lasts....

Sounds like a win/win as I am sure you would rather have your dad nearby as opposed to being down in Georgia …

I always told her wow Beepers we been together for ever you better stay with me for ever......Its so strange it sems quiet in here today..... Not like she made lots of noise just a lost feeling I guess.... Yup hope your kitties stay with you for ever....
