The best cheeseburger on earth......

I say hell naw on the Chipotle Tabasco sauce, every thing else is mostly spot on, one other exception is a 1/2 pound burger not 1 pound, you will get a more harmonious outcome and the meat to bun to condiment ration is much better. JMHO.:D
Gotta agree with this. I get heartburn just thinking about it

You can either place it on the grill or on a stove burner (which is what I do). It's great on those grills the state parks mount on poles at camp sites. Quesadillas, pancakes, grilled sandwiches, burgers, anything that needs flipped. The upturned sides are lower than a skillet, so it's easier to get a spatula under things to flip them. Let it cool down to prevent warping before washing or tossing in the dishwasher.

There's a double-wide version that's best on a grill but can be used straddling two stove burners. We don't need that much capacity to cook for the two of us.
I was joking. But I don't have a range vent to use anything like that on kitchen stove. No grill either. 70 something small mobile home. Old school. I like the George Foreman. Started just putting it in sink now after using. This is third of them I've had. Ruined surface of others trying to get them clean without submerging in water. Now wash, take out on porch in sun. Leave couple hours either upside-down or unfolded on side. I DO unplug it before putting in sink...

For those with access to a Publix with a bakery, they bake brioche buns and they are excellent with hamburgers, mustard, a slice of white onion, hamburger dill pickle slices and Swiss cheese. Or, the hamburger buns by Publix are good as well. Just a bit more crusty top o'the bun.

I recently tried the Ciabatta buns and was a bit disappointed. Too soft and not much flavor. Maybe if I'd toasted or grilled them first...

Whataburger is opening some restaurants here in SC, and some people are carrying on as if they invented hamburgers. Some even lined up in the drive-thru line at 7 pm on the previous night for the 11 am grand opening the following day. As a promotion, Whataburger provided free burgers for a year for the first four in line plus gifts for the ones behind them(refer to link at the end of this post).

They sat there for 16 hours waiting to order a hamburger. So much time to kill... there should also be some new South Carolina babies in about nine months courtesy of the parking. Perhaps they had an RV nearby with a crew working shifts; who knows?
