He didn't have the handling to get down there fast enough but after that move by the 2 I didn't see them forming fast enough for another big run. It might have been anyones race had the 11 made the block. Unfortunately the Toyodas really separated and allowed that to transpire.

You can thank the engine shop for that. Brad & Joey both have consistently fast plate cars.

Most definitely. I just think Brad is *better* at moving the car around. Plus he's such a great defensive driver as well
 
Like it or not Kyle was right and Bowman will be told the same thing back at the shop Monday morning.

Actually he's more likely to be congratulated even harder for standing his ground and racing his nearest car hard the way its ought to be.

Bowman was right. Kyle didn't want to work with him all race long but somehow expected him to work with him because Kyle NEEDED him then? Please..

Had Bowman been more patient he may have had a chance to dice the 18 and 22 for a win. My point is unpopular but that wont change my mind.
 
Chase gets zero love on the plate tracks. I don't get it. I know I'm not imagining it when he's saying it himself on the radio.

What I liked about her interview is the last thing she said about
being more aggressive. This needs to be her mantra this year, and for every race.

She has always rambled in her interviews.

Very good start to the season for her!

As far as Chase, he is still kinda a newbie. Heck its been rare when his own
team mates has helped him significantly. It will come with experience
of the give and take of plate racing.

This is the gap as it started. The 18 backed up to hook up with the 88 but Bowman turned and stalled him out instead. I wont lie though the 18 seemed extra slow like he might of expected a caution.

I see. Sounds just like an inexperienced move on Bowman's part.
However, Logaano gapped them A LOT down the backstretch which suggested an already significant difference in speed, probably because Joey didnt have to lift as much to avoid Brad and Denny, I'm guessing.

Bowman probably thought Joey was gone, so he decided to try to pass the car in front of him. If they locked up, they wouldnt have caught Joey. Not a big deal
