I wouldn't have thought to try disabling black flags since I actually enjoy the challenge of nailing your pit road entry in this game. I'll try that the next time I play and see if it helps. Either way, my championship bid with Lanie is suspended until the issue is resolved.
I knew this was a thing before now, but it took me 60+ hours and playing on a higher difficulty where every second truly matters to notice how significant this synthetic cheating scandal is. This game legitimately made me feel like Prime JGR Kyle Busch after finishing second repeatedly until I figured out that it wasn't a skill issue.
