The new upcoming NASCAR game is very promising

I read somewhere that this a problem for just about everyone and that turning off the black flag is currently the best way to limit the problem.

Note: I have not bought the game yet. I could be totally off base It is just some second hand info I read somewhere else.
Thanks. Glad to hear that other people have noticed it and not just me. I wouldn't have thought to try disabling black flags since I actually enjoy the challenge of nailing your pit road entry in this game. I'll try that the next time I play and see if it helps. Either way, my championship bid with Lanie is suspended until the issue is resolved.

I knew this was a thing before now, but it took me 60+ hours and playing on a higher difficulty where every second truly matters to notice how significant this synthetic cheating scandal is. This game legitimately made me feel like Prime JGR Kyle Busch after finishing second repeatedly until I figured out that it wasn't a skill issue.

Greg's black flag tip worked, at least at Michigan. I flew into the pits in the lead and ended up back in the lead after everything cycled through. 👍

I'm currently waiting for the game to come down in price a little bit. I have about $62 in my PSN wallet and the game with tax costs about $66.
I preordered back as soon as i had the money when it was first announced because I knew I would have that same problem. It’s the first game I’ve preordered in years especially that far in advance.

IRP is probably the toughest track in the game for me at this point. I'm trying to finish a 25% ARCA race there, on 97 difficulty, which I can handle at most of the other tracks. On a controller, with no assists and the neutral setup, you have to have the dexterity of a neurosurgeon to get around that place with any kind of speed.

I know I can do it, but I have to do it all in one sitting. If I have to pause the game and get up for any reason, it completely throws my rhythm off, and I spin out like a fool when I get back on.

I should probably just cave and tighten the car up a little, but I want to learn how to handle the default neutral setup at every track. IRP is pretty much the final frontier for me in that regard. I have to do this.

Finally locked in, finished that race, and got a win.

ARCA is a great starter series in this game. Learning IRP, and those cars in general, has definitely taught me a lot about the way the game wants me to drive. I went to Martinsville afterwards, which used to give me problems, and had no issues whatsoever. I'm a lot more confident now and feel like I can drive anywhere in any series.

Do you play the game with a wheel? If so, which wheel do you use?
