I find the notion of a lesson learned in this whole thing to be humorous. If you think Larson learned anything from it you are ridiculous. He knew that if Kyle got back to him that he was going to get roughed up. Larson knew what he was doing and had no problem with any of it. He would do it again I am sure. He hit him to bog him down when he couldn't make it stick and then the 18 went into the fence. Larson wasn't trying to fence him, but he was absolutely trying to lean on him to slow him down. KB then in turn, and rightfully so, used up Larson's rear bumper as he never lifted and yes, he dumped him. It is what it is. Two guys competing. However, if the result would not have been what it was KB would have thrown a fit and stomped down to Larson and tried to make a scene. It's easy for KB to laugh it off now, but you could hear the bitterness in KB's voice when he was talking about what transpired. That would be my only issue with KB. Love him as a driver and a talent and as a personality, but when his script is flipped on him or when things aren't working out in his favor he becomes petulant. I'm all for his competitiveness, but the fit throwing is not being competitive. If they flipped the scripts and Larson dumped KB, that is all KB would be talking about and we would get some "I don't think it warranted him dumping me" line.
