Thoughts on Matt Kenseth's Fine

what should we do with the crazies. Johali points out the obvious. What in the heck are you doing on a Nascar thread spouting off statements that are borderline slanderous. Totally unfounded. post 188 and 191
Well , he might be Jeremy Mayfield .:D

The penalty is too stiff. With 2 different appeals coming up they need to treat them completly different.
Both are rules infractions but with the Penske cars they were looking for an advantage and their appeal will be about working within the rules.
On the other hand the Gibbs penalty is for an infraction that gave no performance advantage whatsoever and should be treated as such.
Both are rules infractions but the severity of the penalties for Gibbs is just plain unfair.
After 6 pages of this, that I didn't read, I apooigize if this has been stated already.
It's the beer talkin,no wonder my spelling got better.

I this both are violations of Nascar rules and should be treated as such . Both penalties need to be looked at in terms of severity. Surely ,owners , manufacturers and Nascar can get together and find a solution .
