I also hate the Yankees, they represent all things wrong with baseball...If you want a World Series ring so badly, I'm sure it'd be cheaper to just buy them from the jeweller and not have to pay so many baseball players that you stole from other teams that spent time developing them.
 
and how Steinbrenner makes all this money with all these TV Deals he gets with the various national and cable companies, he uses that to hire all these great players, he's basically buying the world series before the season even starts instead of actually looking towards the lower leagues for recruits and developing them.

I'll be damned if the Yanks get A-Rod.
 
Either when this thread has been knocked to the bottom of this page and kept there for a minimum of 5 days or when a mod closes it :D

Of course, the original plan was to knock it several pages down in the general chit-chat forum until Old Ironhead did some crazy crap that got this knocked down to thread games.
 
So, like, this just goes on and on forever until someone with more tact than us comes along and puts a stop to it? Sounds like the Democratic National Convention to me...
