Still nine innings though. When they shorten MLB games to fit within time constraints I'll probably complain about that too. Same with the NFL or NHL.

Somehow I can't picture Darrell Waltrip shouting "I won the Daytona 462.5! I won the Daytona 462.5!" in victory lane.

No no timed races just a bunch of people who think the issue is too long races. For a real fan the Coke 600 isn't long enough.
