Oh, I'm jealous. I LOVE a good home-made tamale. Beef, pork, chicken --- makes no difference to me.

WOW!!!!!!! That's a lot..... authentic ones are very labor intensive to make...... I have a friend who lives in Phoenix...... his wife is of Mexican ancestry...... she makes wonderful tamales.......
Those are the only tamales worth eating. The ones in all the grocery stores are trash. Those are some of the things I miss the most about Los Angeles, authentic Mexican and Chinese food.
