I know that this is the Nascar chat but I'd like it to see a bigger audience if it's OK with TRL.

I'll be at Western Springs this saturday and then the next to see Tony race at my local track. I'm about 10 minutes away and pretty stoked. I do work saturday till 3pm but then have to hurry home and to the track. The next saturday I have the day off work.

Funny you say that I'm not sure what to wear as most of my stuff is 18 or 22 gear Lol

Buy a decent sprint car shirt at the track.

Racecars don’t have fenders.

Have a marvelous time and I hope Tony doesn't get upset and throw anything!

Tony has to be versatile, the down under overhead Vortex Aero properties goes around in a counter direction.
DW or down under WD would say "what's around comes around" as opposed to DWs saying "what goes around comes around".

It is the difference the same, and then it ain't....

Toilet bowl swirl backward.

I.hope he has had a chance to check the city out. Weather has been perfect of late. I hope I don't jinx it. Just been out on the scooter for 90 minutes. Gorgeous out.

I think that's what is hurting F1 these days. They set themselves up to run backassards to counter the inverteded Vortex, and by the time they realized it was all about the Northern Hemispheres and not the Western Hemispheres the commitment to running backassards was a done did thing.

Nascar people complaining about Aero push just don't know. The dreaded reverse inverted Aero push is an awful thing.

Tony's a fisherman. When you see him ask him to go fishing with you. You never know maybe he'll go to get away from all of the hoopla. :D

I wonder if he still has his connections at Bass Pro Shops? "Don't worry I know a guy." :lol2:

Was at the track yesterday after work for the racing and it was awesome. Not specifically because of Tony but the racing was great and Michael Pickens our local one the 35 lap main event.
Tony is not very fan friendly which is fair enough but you couldn't even get a wave or a hi out of him. The team US pit was gated of but a couple of the other US drivers came to say Hi to the fans. Anyhow it was great to see him racing at my local home town track. Quite amazing.
One thing I did notice was his leg healed with quite the scar. May be hard to tell from the photo. I'll post a few more pics soon. I'll be there again next saturday.

You can see Tony in the 14 second to last to start that main. He was very competitive the first half of the race getting better then mid pack with some awesome moves.
