Truck race considered at Eldora

Arrived and set up safely after 15 days hard trekking to the Mecca of dirt but almost repacked and left, as I was just finishing setting up I turned and saw a very large apparition in Jorts passing by on a shiny black golf cart and realized it was just DP so I stayed.

If you guys need to kill a little time, you might want to wander into Greenville. There are some interesting shops there as well as some dang fine food. There are also some natural caves close to the raceway.

Or, you can enjoy some binge drinking for a few days. :D

What's that magnet say/where's it from? The only thing I can make out is the 24. Just wondering.

In that case don't look too close at my camp, crockpot, electric griddle, gas grill, Fry daddy, two burner stove, large oval electric slow cooker, and the complete kitchen in the camper that we don't use much, the days of me and the wife cooking over a campfire are over. :D

The wife's driver, we get home and just pull the magnets off.

We just got back from there, had to do a little shopping. Tomorrow the track is dark so we will probably ride over to Greenville and look around some more, thanks for the tip. Wabash River and a lake just up the road, might look into catching a fish.
 
Are we gonna stay on here TRL, It's fine with me I just wanna know where to go.
 
I think we'll stay here until the action starts on Tuesday.

I'm assuming you'll be in the stands on Tuesday. One of you start a thread and I'll pin it.
And, I think a separate thread for Wednesday. If we separate the days, it will be easier to follow and read. :)
 
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this(didn't feel like reading back) but some of the trucks have been testing at other dirt tracks. The speeds compared to Dirt Late Models are WAY off. Almost 6 seconds slower at some tracks. Of course many things differ between trucks and cars that were made for dirt.

We were well aware of the comments we would get when we posted the pictures but we soldiered on anyway and put our dignity on the line for the sake of the forum. :p

The wife has said for quite some time that he's the second most interesting man in the world after me, I'm glad you agree. :D
 
We're here and I could hit the track with a BB gun from the rv so I'm as happy as a duck on water. Cool and overcast this morning but it's a welcome change after all of the high 90 temperatures and humidity since we left home, It's not supposed to be that way in NH, upstate NY and Canada. :D
