Truck RACE thread --- Atlanta

Surprised the Kyle fans haven’t shown up to remind how great Kyle is and continue to count all his wins against Petty’s 200
I'm afraid there is a possibility he's gonna have his 200 wins by the end of March.
By the time he gets his 200th win, I'm sure a couple of "experts" (definately Michael Waltrip and @Revman ) will start a discussion if Kyle is better than Richard Petty.

This "chasing history" for KB is nothing but BS...who cares. As a viewer I'd much rather watch a bunch of up and comers battle it out. This is like watching Mark McGwire on steroids play at the AA level...congrats KB....you can beat a bunch of kids....good job.

Back at the motel. Never experienced a race day weather wise like today. The entire day was overcast, foggy and most of the time a very light mist. It is hard to believe they got both races in with only one brief red flag. Kyle at least gave me something to watch in the trucks and so did Brandon Jones in the Busch race. Looking forward to the cup guys tomorrow.

Thanks for the at-track reports, it adds a lot to a race thread.

They all clammer about it but Kyle had said that even he wont compare himself to Richard because his own wins came in lower series.

Oh "they." SMDH. Honest to God, I don't know who the hell you are talking about. The 200 win thing is not a big thing to me. I mean I love every damn win, but I have no interest in comparing Kyle to Richard. None.

"Chasing History" is a segment on the Claire B. Lang show.

i know they are limited on tires,do you think nascar would let them remount a tire from a rim that got the lug holes messed up on a new rim, during the race?? oh kyle now has 1000 wins including peewee baseball

I can’t believe people watched the truck race just to complain about Kyle Busch the whole time. He owns the team and puts a lot of money into this series, might as well accept he’s going to run 5-7 races a year. Odds are he will win 3 or 4. Go Rowdy

I complained, but that's definitely not the reason I watched the race.

It's like the 51 has 50 more horsepower than the rest of the field.

I rarely watch a truck race he is in. I follow the leaderboard on Nascar.com and if I see he's out, I will turn it on. I want to see the youngsters do well, not the lone Cup guy dominate a lesser series. It's not just the fact he is a Cup driver, at times it seems his truck has 20 or 30 more horsepower than anyone else out there the way he can pull away on sheer horsepower. He has got busted numerous times after a win for failing inspection, yet still kept the win. He doesn't care about points or losing money, so bends the rules unlike the regulars in the series running for points. This guy is not a god unless he is in superior equipment.
