Always liked IRP.
My earliest memory of IRP was Tony Stewart in the Busch race (Busch raced at IRP the night before the Brickyard in the 90s) in like 96 or 97. He was in that 44 Shell car that I think was related to the Labontes somehow. Y’all probably remember.

I am following Reddit and there are people already making excuses for SVG. Apparently he’s content to just ride around and learn. They can’t handle that he’s green as grass on ovals.

People need to calm their expectations. When people are claiming that he could hop in a Cup car tomorrow and immediately be competitive on ovals, you know expectations are out of whack. He needs to learn and it seems like he and Trackhouse realize that.
