Truck RACE thread --- Texas

KBM gets er done at Texas

Still looks like a Briscoe victory to me.
With the light it's really hard to tell, but with the fence light it's not hard to tell Chase was indeed in front.

Sadly to the one's who wanted them to race back last night, probably good they didn't as that could have ended badly if one of the trucks spun coming back to the line and hit Peters.

I DVR'd the race and just got finished watching the Texas Truck. If you did not like that race, well, you need to find something else to do. Hell of a Race by those young guns. Overtake, pass, two and three wide all good stuff, driving them like they stole them. :punkrocke
no wait..Texas track sucks. They couldn't have a good race there.:punkrocke Yeah for sure definite barn burner, the track reconfig is a big winner.

Can't help but like Briscoe after this race and his interview. Sure would like to see these race finish at the flag stand with the checkered flag waving under green conditions.

With the very high downforce the trucks have, the faster 29 was unable to pass the 4. Makes me glad Cup and (finally) Xfinity series have moved to lower downforce. The trucks are heavily aero-dominated, and probably will remain so as the first development series when young drivers move to big tracks from local late model racing.

I was pulling for Briscoe, but I think the official explanation is entirely reasonable. BKez is OK with it too, once he saw the data. Fox should have gotten that info on the broadcast.

"The track rope lighting that was visible on tv replay is not synced with the other lights/systems . . . "

I'm gonna talk to my 12-year old grandson to see if he can help them out in getting that fixed.

Saw the photo I believe..it had no caution light..just a photo of two trucks side by side..B.S. I'm going by post 112. caution light and truck photo. ;) But it won't be the last time I disagree with Nascar I hope. :)
