Trucks at Bristol

I wonder if Kyle is going to take Sadler out in the Nationwide race Friday or if he'll have his head on straight by then.

Good finish for Todd! :beerbang:
Classy interview from Sadluh also.. are the guys trying to make a living in the Truck series supposed to bow down to Bush and the other 'Cup full timers, anyway?

^ Kevin forced his way in front of Jason White just like kyle tried with Sadler. These cup guys think they can just push everyone around.

He'll run all over Sadler because he knows Sadler will back off to keep from getting wrecked. That's what Kyle did all last year in Nationwide. He hasn't changed a bit. Maybe Harvick will send Kyle a message that if he messes with his NW program, Kyle's Cup program isn't off limits.

That was entertaining race, didn't want to see Harvick win again though.

I think they said that only 2x someone else has won when Harvick and Busch are both in the race. That's crazy.

And, caution.

SPEED blows. This is why I don't watch the Truck Series, the racing either sucks or is a ton of cautions, the broadcasts have more commercials than TNT and the broadcast crew is just annoying.

Ummm ok. Think about what you write before you write it.:owquitit:

The Kyle/Elliott incident is a no brainer. Kyle moved up before he was clear. He said the spotter cleared him but who knows, you can't squeeze in where there isn't any room.

You aren't suggesting that it could have been driver error, are you?! I mean, he's won all those lower division races and everything..

What a frigging shock!!!

All of the Pee Wee Haters come out of the woodwork whenever Pee Wee causes an incident. Those same effing Haters would be sending anthrax to Pee Wee if he had wrecked Sadler. Y'all are just far too effing predictable.

Sadler don't run for points in the Truck Series. He is a full-time NNS driver.
Harvick supplied the truck that Sadler was driving tonight - even though it wasn't flying the KHI flag.
Sadler and Busch had had issues earlier in the race and with half the race still to go, Sadler could have easily conceded the pass by Pee Wee and let him have the spot. He said in his post-race interview that he didn't have time to back off. What a crock of bullpucky that is! He knew that it didn't matter where he finished, as long as The Bossman finished first.
NASCAR should have thrown the caution as soon as Pee Wee hit the wall! There were parts and pieces all over the track! But they decided to wait, knowing what was about to happen. And that "incident" will be milked for all it's worth in weeks to come.
Sadler better effen hope that Pee Wee is nowhere near him in Friday's NNS race - cause if Kyle gets the chance he will Take Sadler Out!

Was Pee Wee clear of Sadler on that attempted pass? Probably not. Could Sadler have given Kyle room to slide up? Probably so. Does it really effen matter? I guess that the answer to that question is in the eye of the beholder...

You do realize that you don't actually have to 'think' like your driver to be a fan, right? It's EXACTLY like the announcers said. IF Kyle hadn't roughed Sadler up earlier, he would have been in a better mood when Kyle screwed up yet another cheap slide job.

Kyle feels like he owns the whole track. Sadler simply showed him how wrong he is. I can almost guarantee that more NW and truck drivers start racing Kyle harder than ever. Wait until he messes with Stenhouse.

Funny thing, JD and Joe Gibb's were just saying that their only worry about Kyle running trucks and NW is that something happens that carries over to Cup. They seem to know Kyle VERY well.

I am not a Kyle hater, and for disclosure I am an RCR and Harvick fan.

What Kyle did isn't that big to me, stuff happens.
But Kyle drifted into Sadler, maybe Elliott could have backed off, but Kyle still owns the wreck.
Kyle also chose to retaliate, he can be disciplined when he chooses, he simply chose not to, a caution or not is immaterial.

Again I am not bothered, I even like Kyle he is a hell of a driver, arguably the best, certainly in the current top 3.

But tonight wasn't big picture smart, and it stirs the pot. Kyle is on roll in Cup, and looks to be peaking as the chase approaches. There could be some blowback in a more important fall cup race . Kyle also gained nothing from the move, he was as good as already done, when spinning Sadler.

But as Harvick fan I will admit the same flaws exist. That's why I like both, their good entertainment.

Contrast them to five time JJ, the boring complaints, but the guy knows how to avoid late season non value added drama. That's probably while he is underrated, but Kyle and Kevin could learn from him, if they want Cup titles.

What I find amusing is that all this hatred for kyle getting Elliot, but nothing about the other numnutz earlier in the race...

Following a incident in a truck race Harvick was parked for the Sunday cup race. Lets see how consistent the penalty, if any, will be.

da punk needs an attitude adjustment behind the hauler,,

Problem I see is if Harvick gets anywhere near da punk in the cup race na$crap will warn him about retaliation.

:beerbang: Good Point. I didn't watch the race last night, forgot all about it, I just watched the replay of the incident. I see Kyle trying to squeeze into a spot that he shouldn't of been trying for. Sadler isn't going to back off there, why should he? What bothers me though is Kyle slowing down and taking out Sadler, he hit him twice. That could of taken out a lot of other trucks in the race, very irresponsible on Kyles' part for sure. I like Kyle as a racer, he has great talent, but when you jeopardize other drivers and their equipment during a race, just to get back at some one....I have a big problem with that! Kyle doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes, or if he does it doesn't last very long. It makes for good entertainment once or twice, but after awhile it gets old just like anything else.;)

my problem with kyle and most others that *think* they are clear when pulling in front of others is that if they were actually clear they wouldn't get hit. there is no reason for another driver to back off when someone pulls in front of them. none, nada, driver beware when passing to be sure you are clear. you deserve to be hit if you're counting on the other guy giving you a break.

But, he's the great Kyle Bush that can win in any division no matter how far he has to step down. Every driver trying to make a living or advance their careers competing in the other divisions should just park their rides, stay out of the way, and watch The Master circle the track in his million dollar ride. I guess...

Nascar wants these drivers to run in other divisions some ppl go to nationwise race just to see cup drivers
Attendance would go down more empty seats

I don't watch racing on television to look at the crowd.

*Kyle owns the wreck. Agreed. Sadler COULD HAVE backed off but didn't. The Wee should have known there would be no quarter given.
*Had the caution been waved, the field would have been slowed and Kyle would never have been able to get to Sadler. Also, Kyle would have been subject to penalties for wrecking a guy under the yellow - which is probably not the case when racing under green - but we all know how NASCAR uses selective enforcement.
*100% correct regarding JJ!

And to all this, I reply, "Go Kyle!!"

Keep pissing people off. Hell, I've said it before, whatever KB does, it increases the thread count in ALL of the NASCAR forums.

Like it or not, KB is good for NASCAR.

Agreed. With 'Brash Brad' largely retired, and the latest version of the 'new Kyle' making it through summer, I was getting a little worried.

I should have known the old Kyle would be back.

That was a little different, if I remember correctly. Wasn't that where Kevin jumped over the hood and went after Biffle?

Yes it was. Kevin sat on his pit box til the race was over and actually jumped off the pit wall after Biffle. I thought the funniest part was when Kevin said he just went to tell Biffle he had a phone call and had to yell at him cause of all the noise.

I didn't agree with nascar parking him in the cup race.
Don't think they should park Kyle in a cup race for what happened last night since it has nothing to do with the cup series. If they want to park a driver, park them in the series that the crap happened in.

How can they even consider parking Kyle after giving Edwards a walk for his insane actions last year?

I hope NASCAR stays out of it this time. Let Kyle deal with his own mess.

I think it's burning Kyle up that he hasn't been much of a story lately while the driver he really hates has been all over the front page. He desperately wanted to sweep Bristol again, and that desperation caught up to him.

So that is justification for why Kyle slowed on the track, then smacked Sadler and as Sadler was spinning hit him again? Kyle was wrong in doing it yet you try to make an excuse for him. I'm not a Kyle basher, but that was so blatant how can you defend his actions?

Ahh but it does carry over, Sadlers' truck was backed by Harvick if i read that correctly earlier today, so there will be some kind of pay back in one form or another.

How would sitting Kyle out of a truck race hurt him? As long the truck can be in the race it isn't even hurting Kyle. If someone does anything they should sit out of the series they race for points in because of the fact it hurts them more that way. Right now it won't hurt Kyle for the fact he's already in the chase he is locked in so its not like he has to win races or even really be in them.

Also this is why Kevin was sit out of the Cup race not for the Greg thing but for this

And that is the same thing Nascar threatning to park him for this year He's fkn stupid and wants to run that yap yap mouth

Just do it and STFU

And that is the same thing for Nascar threatning to park him for this year He's fkn stupid and wants to run that yap yap mouth

But why not park Kyle when Kyle did something in a Truck race? Kyle is worst then Kevin you know that right and I don't mean talent wise I mean how they got a dang attitude
