Honestly if I was Brian France, I'd make a rule that Cup drivers can race in NW or Trucks, but the teams must choose one series and stick with it. That means that JGR can only choose to field Cup, NW or Trucks teams, they can't do all three. That way, a cup driver can't just show up in Cup equipment and win all the truck or NW races.
Of course you know Kyle has his own truck team, out of his own shop, on probably a budget on par with other teams
You are thinking Nationwide. No he has a JGR truck with JGR equipment. He tried racing in his own stuff before and failed miserably, which is why I want to implement that rule.

No that was the Nationwide car where that happened. His truck team was supposed to be used for a place where up and coming drivers could get some seat time but we all see how that is going.I thought that was truck, he went one season in his own equipment, was barely competitive and went running back to JGR.

he might have to run one of the TWO trucks because the sponsor wants to be in victory lane. or maybe be needs the winnings to help fund his operationNo that was the Nationwide car where that happened. His truck team was supposed to be used for a place where up and coming drivers could get some seat time but we all see how that is going.
if cup teams were not there there may be other teams that form that use young driverssounds good, but it wouldn't allow cup teams to try out the young guys trying to make it to a cup team.

I watched one of Kyles young drivers win Phoenix in a Kbm truck, he did a wonderful job
Erik Jones is going to be one of the great ones one day. I've been a fan of his since he started.
I have only got to see him race once in person but he seems very talented, almost looked like Kyle was driving the truck. Any idea what Jones has been doing lately ?
He's driving the 51 ten times this year, and he's running the triple crown late model events for KBM (Snowball Derby, Winchester 400, All American 400). Problem is he's so young he can't race nascar on a regular basis yet. I wish someone would put him in a K&N car full time
I hope Kyle doesnt let anybody else get a hold of the kid, he can help KBM out a bunch
Agreed. KBM has two of the brightest young talents in the sport.

I truly hope Bubba gets settled in and starts running a little more consistent. Wish Kyle would take another shot at fielding a nationwide team

He needs to visit a Gypsy or something! He has horrible luck, always gets taken out in someone else's mess
Running up front more would probably help a lot, he always ends up mid pack where all the trouble starts
He had his license downgraded by NASCAR.Wow. Jake Crum just straight up killed Ryan Ellis.
Will NASCAR implement their rule of no deliberately taking another driver out? No? 100% bullschit.
CONCORD, N.C. -- NASCAR has downgraded the license of Truck Series driver Jake Crumfor an incident at Charlotte Motor Speedway last week.
NASCAR spokesman Kerry Tharp said Crum has been blocked from driving at tracks longer than 1.25 miles. He is also allowed to drive on road courses.
The discipline stems from Crum's interaction with Ryan Ellis in last Friday's race. After the two tangled earlier in the race, Crum and Ellis were racing side by side when Crum drove into Ellis and sent him into the wall.
Tharp said NASCAR would monitor Crum at future races and determine when it might allow him to again drive as longer race tracks.
