NASCAR thinks the car safety improvements balances the lack of safe barriers on the inside of the tracks. They are sadly mistaken and they know it so its puzzling why they dont just put them in place already.

Exactly! I mean ideas to show NASCAR they need to do that.

I didn't watch the race today but I'm surprised that everyone is complaining too - pleasantly surprised, actually. I thought most of you here liked RP races.

The only positive thing about them is the possibility of seeing a random surprise winner. If not for that, I wouldn't watch them at all and would be more than happy to see them taken off the schedule. Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing them taken off the schedule in spite of that.

Hope Kyle and everyone else is okay.

As far as I know everyone is ok. Nervous moments on that one
 
When the current driver attitude is nail the gas and drive thru it, there will be a serious door hit and injury sooner or later.
 
So I just watched the race (Thank the gods for DVR) and that was exciting! The end became a little bit of a wreck fest, but the trucks managed to combine not only the tandem but the pack racing as well! Congrats to Sauter for his win!

If you see any photos of Peludo's truck after the crash can you post it? I thought it looked like the cage on the drivers side smashed down and was wanting to see what it looked like. Or it might have just been how the sheet metal was bent up as well.

That Busch truck is messed up. lucky guy.

Crazy race, if the wreck didn't happen at the end, it would have been an epic finish. I do like RP tracks but I don't want to see anyone hurt. As manufactured as it is, the racing is close and exciting. Drivers know if they make a mistake, there is no saving it. I like that part of it.
