When Papis slapped Billy Johnson, he had his helmet on.. Wasn't a big deal IMORead what Standonit said.
By all accounts Papis assulted another driver so that warrants some type of penalty wouldn't you say?
Common sense? You referenced Petty to validate what happened today. When in fact that is misrepresentive of Pettys career and the way he raced.

I'm okay with ppl hating the finish but lets not base your opinon on a 17 year old on one incident.
Chase DID have a fender on him. That's good stuff right there.NASCAR ... What message did Ty Dillon give Chase Elliott after the race? Chase says: "He obviously wasn't happy. He has a right not to be happy. I wouldn't have been happy either. At the same time, like we all three said, you've got to do what you've got to do. I had the fender on him there. I might have got into 10 a little too hard, but I did have a fender on him, I felt like. He just told me that I was better than that and we're probably going to have some problems next week at Iowa, so we'll have to play it by ear when we get there.'
he earned the nickname Mad Max long before Nascar...think about it.Invasion of space all the same.
Thing I dont like about Papis is that he thinks he has some sort of right to start trouble in a series where he only races what? 3, 4 times a year?
He hasn't earned that right yet.
Valid point.. I get pissed when Boris Said or Jaques Vilanueve run NASCAR regulars off the track and don't have to worry about payback the following weekInvasion of space all the same.

yeah he did they were back and forth going for it at least for a half a lap.Chase DID have a fender on him. That's good stuff right there.

Yeah, Ty is pissed right now but I don't see him risking taking himself out too, just to retaliate. If Ty is smart, he waits until he can take a win from Chase by wrecking him. Chase isn't running for a championship, Ty is.

Did Ty take that big of a hit in the points? He's 63 behind first now.Huh? Chase took a win and ended Ty's championship hopes. I would wreck him once for each.
"This broadcast feed is not available outside Canada"Is this race on Fox Sports 1, all I can get there is a blank screen.
He's only 17?
Fox Sports goofed on their website saying "the 18-year old" won the race. But, his DOB is 11/28/95, so he is indeed 17.He's only 17?
I don't think Biffle was young in the truck series. Kyle Busch was 16 in the truck series.Wasn't Biffle young when he started driving trucks?
Chase Elliott wrecks Ty Dillon to win truck race; Richard Childress furious
Richard Childress, Dillon’s grandfather and team owner, was furious over the incident.
"What goes around, comes around,” said Childress, who watched the race from Atlanta Motor Speedway, site of Sunday night’s Sprint Cup race. “That's all I can say. Ty handled it a lot better than I would.” Childress, who punched Kyle Busch two years ago for wrecking one of his grandsons, said that Elliott also wrecked Ty’s older brother Austin in similar fashion last year.
“Anybody could see that he never turned the wheel and just drove straight into him,” Childress said. “He said it in his interview — it’s the last lap, you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do. “That’s not the way you end up making friends.”
from here
It was Joey Coulter, not one of his grandsons.
Why is Childress so protective of their grandsons? Let them solve it amongs themselves.
One day someone is going to punch his lights out.
It was Joey Coulter, not one of his grandsons.
And here I thought it was just me.Trying to confuse me?
Trying to confuse me?
It says Richard Childress mad at Chase Elliot for wrecking Dillion and the latter is Childress grandson, is he not?

Biffle was born in 1969 and the Truck Series didn't start until 1995, so he had to be at least in his mid 20s.Wasn't Biffle young when he started driving trucks?
