True but I don't really think that is what is going through a guy's mind when he gets wrecked. **** happens but it still pisses you off. I think if Kevin had a chance to cool off, he wouldn't have said those things.

That's exactly how I saw it. Harvick was about half a lane up.

I am kind of in the middle on that one. They definitely have the insider opportunities, but I dont have enough information to say that they are spoiled brats.

I think Austin is plenty dumb enough with the ass clown cowboy get up, almost like a comical midget thrilled with the idea. The head first slides can only be defined as stupid as well, but I have done so many stupid things, I probably should relate some.

As for Austin he earned some respect from me at Eldora. I think Larson is the greater talent but Austin outperformed him that night, he isnt a lightweight in terms of driving.

Which is why I ain't really gonna hold what he said against him because it was a heat of the moment thing, but he also has to remember he has wrecked people the same way.

I don't know the Dillons personally of course, perception is reality to fans and fellow drivers.. I'm not saying they don't have talent.. You have to enough to be near the front even in top equipment but that doesn't mean that a driver with equal amount of talent would get the same opportunity without working their tail off.

When they get to cup, that will be the real test. I think RCR will be going backwards in terms of performance.

Well heck Reck it dont matter where you are when you mash the brake. Either way Harvick didnt behave like the pro he thinks he is and was probably very surprised when Ty retaliated. I enjoyed the whole deal very much. BTW I have a very deep rooted dislike for mr Harvick and all bullies like him. Harv expects to be able to bump folks out of the way all day long without anyone doing the same to him. I dont care if Ty did run over him for no reason.

I am sure that some day we will agree on something though :moon: :D

Most drivers come from pretty well-off families nowadays. Racing is so expensive it's extremely hard for even middle class families to afford it, let alone actual poor kids. The Dillon Bros are just even richer than the norm for racing families.

Some of the rags to riches stories you see in other sports like the NFL or NBA -- where the kid grows up on welfare and food stamps but becomes rich and famous due to their raw talent -- just aren't really possible nowadays in racing. The best we get are middle class to riches stories like Kyle Larson.

I do agree with that, its why Nascar is such a family sport.. if you have a name, you'll have a leg up with sponsors and money already pretty much set.

I believe what Ty said Reck, Dillon is running for a championship so why do something dumb. I have seen Harvick wreck Many folks for no reason at all. He bullied his way thru the pack today and got bit on the ***....................... I am happy happy happy. Harvicks words after the race were just the icing on the cake.
Nascar dont need a chump like that to be champion, I would rather see your guy win it, at least he acts like a pro most of the time ;)

Drivers say all kinds of lies that makes them look foolish when shown a replay of the actual events.

This is like when a driver says he wasn't speeding in the pits when all other things says different.

You cant exactly take everything the drivers say as the word of god because half the time they are talking out of their you know what. Specially when it pertains to putting the blame on person A or person B.

Keep trying, we'll agree on something sometime. lol

There is no doubt that we will sooner or later. I do very much appreciate the fact that we can disagree on something and keep it civil.
Usually you are beating me into submission with some pesky stats but this one is just us seeing things a little different :D
You think there are penalties on the way for any of the involved people ???

Well Harvick is better nearly on every category here at Martinsville in trucks compared to Ty. :D

Harvick can definitely carry Ty's helmet. Hell make it two. :p

And no I dont think this warrants a penalty. They pretty much solved it on the track by continuingly wrecking one another.

If anyone is going to do something it will probably be Richard.

Ty Dillon is a moron. He can't even spin a guy without taking himself out, then he can't even spin a guy under caution. What a dumbass. Dillon boys suck and haven't earned sh!t. Everything has been handed to them.

The only Dillon I like is Bob Dylan. ;)

You need to watch the replay again. This time pay attention to the bright yellow truck running into the kid at full speed.
And you forgot Marshall Matt Dillon, ya lil whipper snapper.
 
Dammit. My recording of the truck races was corrupted so I had to delete it. Now I find out it was an historic win and included an RCR vs Harvick squabble. Figures.

Ty needs to learn how to move someone out of the way without wrecking both cars. Harvick banged Ty showing his disapproval and Ty banged him back - all good so far. Ty shouldn't have tried to spin Havrick out (more than once); Harvick shouldn't have parked in Ty's pit; Harvick should have kept his mouth shut after the incident. But it's all entertainment. .
