It was reported in the preseason testing that the Hondas were down 50 hp on the ovals compared to the Chevrolets. I think they have the wick turned up to try to keep pace with the bowties. They won at Indianapolis but have just been blowing engines left and right at all the other ovals.

But they do get a little better fuel mileage from my observations, so I guess it's all relative.
