Last night on MyTV. The first two episodes aired. After seeing it air originally then all the marathons I figured I've seen them 5 or 6 times. Not as interesting anymore but did notice the walkers moved faster and weren't as 'decayed' as they are in later episodes, except for the woman in the park.

Can't wait. Was just watching some of the previews.

We know AMC will run the Walking Dead Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Presidents Day, Ground Hog Day Marathons ...
Then with MyTV running the early episodes in what must be some sort of syndication deal it won't be long before over saturation starts and fans move on. Some fans I mean.:)

In one of the WD newsletters they said they were in negotiations and it was looking good to stay in that location until the 2019 season.
In the first episode last night, Carl got shot then I dozed off. Dozing off will not happen next Sunday!

I saw a new teaser today on The Walking Dead's Facebooke page that I didn't like. Not at all. Fairly closeup shot of Glen, gagged with a rage in his mouth, eyes closed, and a dude right behind him, swinging a baseball bat just as the screen goes black and says "in 4 days."

walking dead ?
jeez.....no more legitimate complaints bout race broadcasts from you va ! :D

Same episodes that aired late Tuesday night aired a bit earlier last night. In a year they'll outnumber Law & Order airings...

They have said in the past they are aiming for 7 total but could do more.

With a spinoff in the works, I think that should be enough. This show already hit its peak so it won't get any better.

I doubt they do just 7. They aren't even halfway through the comics. Still a major villain that needs to appear. Plus Kirkman has said that he has no plans to stop the comics anytime soon. That doesn't mean that the show will last as long as the comics, but I do see at least 4 more seasons of material the show could use.

I don't watch it, doesn't seem interesting.

Marathon has been on the past day or so. Just watched a 4 minute trailer for tonight's episode..:)

Loved the nuances of this show.

At the end Rick shows his reluctance at first to hug carol showing that he remembers why he kicked her out to begin with.....just so many levels of win

What really surprises me is that this show exposes you to the evil of the common man and it seems so much eviler than the walkers

So now, like all seasons, there is a bad guy/group of people.... When are they going to make some headway!?

**** is crazy though... Converting to cannibalism and somehow glorifying it? Sick Phucks...

Tainted meat!

Really guys you should read the comics.
I hate people that say that. No thank you, I'm enjoying the TV series on it's own merit. I don't feel I need to be one of those people that "knows everything because I read the comic and you didn't."

One of my son's friends has every "graphic novel" as they're called and according to him things happen in the "comics" that don't happen in the TV shows, and vice versa.
I do have a few questions but overall I'm just sitting back and enjoying the show.

Ok, have you ever wonder, why with the exception of the girl at the gas station in the first episode and Sophie, there aren't any kid walkers?

If I read the comics then I's have no reason to watch the series. I like not knowing what's going to happen next. Reading the comics would just spoil it for me.

Lol, pretentious much?

To me reading the comics just gives me a different perspective. There are plenty of differences between the two that I never feel spoiled in anyway. There are characters in the TV show that aren't in the comics, and vice versa. They have taken completely different story arcs with certain characters in the TV show than they did with the comics. Sure there are similarities between the two, but also big difference to which each stand on their own. My suggestions to the read the comics have never been so that you know more than others, but to expand discussion on this forum for the overall walking dead universe. That said, play the tell tale video games too!
