WEC 2025

Pier Guidi just ran the quickest lap of the race. He’s pushing more than I’d think for being so tight on fuel.

It’s going to be so, so tight for the leading 51. Idk why Pier Guidi has been pushing so much. Nielsen should be okay in the 50, but has to fend off Mick.

Mick really made it interesting at the end. Came within five seconds of getting it done, he just didn’t have the tires compared to the Ferraris on the final stint. The two FCYs in the final hour kinda bailed out Ferrari as well.

Really good points days for Cadillac and especially Toyota for not having the ultimate pace this weekend.

I love this track, and what a great race that was. Almost the perfect precursor to Le Mans. Lots of storylines in the buildup to June.

Driver of the day for me.

I am not sure if/when they will change the BOP, but it is only a little out of whack in favor of the Ferraris. Alpine and BMW really made them work for it, and at one point even a Peugeot led the race.

I am always hoping for more from them. They were never in the big fight up front, but they ran a perfect race (considering what they had) and turned it into a good finish. They just need to find some speed.

I don't even know what to say about how good Toyota is. For whatever reason they were slow this weekend, but they still got a good finish out of it.

Coming in a little under the radar in their own race will be Alpine. They showed race winning speed today, but even at that, most people are going to pick Ferrari. It's the perfect set up for a big upset. Contrasting to the chaos on their F1 side, Alpine looked superb today.

Definitely want to keep that venue on the calendar.

Now we need a Lemans thread.
