What kind of car do you drive?

That's some backdrop! Where was it taken if you don't mind me asking?

The backside of the Bridger Mountains just outside of Bozeman, MT. I lived there for 3 years. That pic was taken Memorial Day 2014.

I got to meet Richard Childress 3 times while I was out there. He would fly in to visit his friend (was a member at the golf club I worked at) the week before the Sears Point Race.

This is from the Bozeman side...

Brethren I come to you begging forgiveness. Before you stands a vile sinner. One who now seeks redemption.
For I, in a fit of rage as a yout, drove a car to the junk yard and watched as Old Man Sherman drove his bulldozer back and forth over that evil red 1957 Chevy convertible...

I see a red 57 Chevy convertible now and I throw up a little in my mouf:D

What's a thread like this without pics? My cars are treated better than most humans. I'm the guy who parks a mile away...

Currently a 2014Volvo S60

Prior to my Volvo a 2006 SAAB 9-3 2.0T...I miss this car so much! It was in showroom condition at 120k miles. But getting it worked on became a pain in the butt. I'll never forgive GM for destroying the brand....

That Volvo isn't that the monster they make?!!

Boy, can't imagine this will be well received but imma do it anyway...

1991 Toyota Corolla (manual and fun as hell to drive that car.. car was built like a tank)
2002 Nissan Maxima
2001 Toyota Camry
2006 Nissan Altima
2011 Toyota Camry
2012 Toyota Corolla

I had a 2002 Maxima SE and it was one of my favorite cars.

The Volvo is slug compared to my SAAB. The turbo boost is minimal. I'm not sure what Volvo was thinking honestly. If you want performance you need to drop $60k on a Polestar. I looked also at a VW GTI, Jetta GLI and Focus ST. In hindsight those cars would have been much more fun to drive. The Volvo warranty and customer service is really good though....

Currently --- 2010 Lincoln Town Car --- like driving my recliner down the road. LOL
First car --- family hand-me-down 1957 Chevy Station Wagon
1965 Ford Falcon --- 4 wheels, an engine, 3 on the tree, and a heater
1968 -- Javelin
1969 --- Javelin --- this one was hotter than a $2 pistol on Saturday night
1972 --- Chevy 3/4 ton pickup
1985 --- Old 98 Recency
1990 --- Chevrolet Suburban
1994 --- Lincoln Town Car
1996 --- Lincoln Town Car
2001-2010 --- Lincoln Town Car

Hubby and I finally settled on the Town Car because there is nothing like the comfy ride.
Currently have 61K on it and will keep it until it becomes too expensive to repair.
Not sure what I could ever replace it with --- haven't been in anything that remotely compares.

I had a 1963 Falcon Wagon that was green with the white roof with a little in line 6 and a 3 on the tree. No radio not nothing.

This guy that came by my job said that Volvo was the silent killer lol.. he was telling me it had so much horsepower and stuff like that lol. Not unless it's a s70 or something lol

I had a 1997 Taurus that I loved to death, but the transmission blew after a drive to Detroit at 230,000 miles. Now I've been driving my grandma's 1989 Chrysler LeBaron for a little over a year. Only 67,000 miles on it.

Once I graduate next year I plan to get an Impala or used Continental if it depreciates enough.

The Volvo S60 R's were awesome cars! Ford did some good things with Volvo (far better than GM and SAAB) and the R is one of them. Unfortunately, the stopped making them in 2007. Ford began searching for a buyer for the Volvo brand sometime around then....

Do you plan on keeping that?!?! That is an awesome car! Chrysler had some horrible cars during that time period but this not one! It has a similar look to a '87 or '88 Thunderbird imo. The lines are awesome and the flip up headlights are so 80s!

Picture of my Rubicon, taken between Bozeman Montana and Yellowstone. My plan is to live in Bozeman in the Summer and Florida in the winter. I was living in California at the time this was taken on a trip to look at property in the Bozeman area and visit Yellowstone. My wife and I really enjoy this Jeep.

Made that trip several times! Small world to have another person with ties to Bozeman on here!! The Gallatin Valley is awesome! I plan on returning!

Thanks! I do really like the looks of the car and I'm a sucker for anything with hidden headlights. I likely won't keep it, but that just means my dad will take back possession of it. Unless he decides to sell it. :p

First truck - 98 s10 4x4. One of the happiest days of my life was watching that monstrosity piece of **** rolling down my driveway the day I sold it.

Current truck - 99 Silverado z71. 2.5" leveling kit, 33" toyo mts, true dual glasspacks. 272k and will still pull the gates off of hell. Wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere... probably the best truck I'll ever own.
