I think the way rookies and young drivers were from about 1999 to the mid 2000s or so really hurt drivers now. Back in the day, drivers didn't really come in and win to often right away, some did sure, but it wasn't often. Then you had guys come in at the end of the 90s and start of the 2000s or so who just lit the world on fire, and now when you're not winning in like 2-3 years or so, you're labeled as a bust or a failure.
