WNBA 2025

These days, I have a hard time discussing sports with most people. They're inherently tribal by nature and breed tribal discussions, and I'm really not that way at all. Battling with you and others in this thread and reading all the over-the-top Clark vs. Reese chatter online eventually just got to me, to the point where I started becoming that way.

I decided to stop watching Indiana and Chicago (although to be fair, I never really went back to watching Chicago after I stopped watching them late last season) and have been watching Minnesota and Washington instead. No third team yet.

To each their own, but watching the WNBA is a fun cooldown activity for me. It's not a source of tension or negativity, or something to argue with others about. I intend to keep it that way.

Atlanta wins in a blowout and Indiana falls to 4-5.
Not a good showing for Indiana. I also watched some of the Liberty vs Sky game and have to admit that the Liberty are much better than what Indiana as a team.
BTW, Liberty is really blowing out the Sky, no surprise.

Unfortunately the most likely scenario is Aari McDonald goes to Chicago when Sophie or Caitlin return to Indiana.

From everything I’ve seen, Indiana can’t just cut someone to make room for her if they want to. Which is unfortunate that they’re stuck with Brianna Turner.

I’d love for Kamilla Cardoso to come to Indiana somehow.
I think it’s possible she winds up staying with Indy, but it would require her to wait out 10 days from the termination of her hardship contract to sign with Indiana - who would have to waive Turner.

Sophie Cunningham is also back!

How on earth did Mabrey not get ejected for this?

And my lukewarm take is that Jacy Sheldon is CC’s biggest ‘true’ rival at the moment.

Connecticut tried to take Angel Reese out yesterday too, twisting her hair up and pulling it. So this isn’t just about Caitlin.
It’s always the teams that actively suck the most pulling this stuff. You never see this with Minnesota or New York.

Mabrey is always an instigator as well, this was ridiculous though.

The officials in this league are less than useless. This is what happens when you don’t make the proper calls and set the tone when it needs to be set. Indiana got the payback they deserved.

I think they excused the crap on Angel by saying her hair is too long, which it is. But just unacceptable.

I’ve seen courtyard ballgames in Baltimore that weren’t this physical.

Mabrey scored all of 6 points tonight. Glad she is with the Sun. She fits right in.

Dantas played a good game tonight for the Fever.
