Remember the financial backing he has. He’s talented but he also has equipment that nobody else in ARCA can even dream of affording and has bonafide Cup equipment and team in Xfinity. Again, he’s obviously talented but he’s had the best equipment in the field for his entire career. He worked his ass off today after wrecking himself earlier, accidentally dumped his closest competition, and held on to win.

We’ll see what he can do when he’s not basically in video game mode.
 
Yeah I was just going to chime in on that. Ty Gibbs is the real deal. He's going to be our next generational driver, the next Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, the next 80 plus race winner, for championships.

Whatever. He's going to be a guy for a while.

While this is true, you still have to win with it. He's showing that he can clearly win in it.

I think the potential is there. I don't think we see another seven-time champion, but we only have one 4 time, and no 5 time. Not saying it's locked in, but eventually we're gonna another generational talent.

I think Ty has potential to be that guy

IIRC, Ricky Hendrick ran a few ARCA races for his family’s team.

Y’all remember when David Gilliand was the next Petty?

Kids good but he’s in elite equipment. Chris Bell is damn good and still finding his footing in cup. Im not sold on him being the next goat.

This. He’s been very fun to watch so far and is obviously a very promising talent.

Please don’t mistake this as “hate”...he’s also been very lucky in both of his wins that his car held up with him barreling into the grass at the RC and today sliding perfectly thru the AstroTurf.

I've definitely never said that but since you asked, he's currently a hell of a lot closer than Ty Gibbs, strictly based on what he's already actually accomplished lol. You guys are wild with the anointing.

I still remember DaBiff saying Bowman was gonna be the next JJ.
 
I was really hoping for another caution (never thought I'd utter those words) so that Brown had a shot at the win.
