JGR or no JGR, I’m very impressed by Ty Gibbs. Just watching him battle with Briscoe yesterday, he shows tremendous poise for a kid his age. Working the air, moving his line around to keep the 99 guessing. Good stuff. Reminds me of when Joey Logano first burst on the scene over a decade ago.
Obviously time will tell how good he’ll be at the next level. He’s gonna have the same learning curve all the other Toyota guys have faced jumping from curbstomping underfunded ARCA and Xfinity fields.
