Man, he (they) had to be. The 44 had problems and just got killed for no reason. Not sure who the spotter is for the 98, but they certainly did a horrendous job right there.

I'm glad both Herbst and TJM are okay, that could have been scary.

I would imagine he is running this race to get some practice in and see how far he can push it. It looks like he found the limit and now he will probably just go on and win the race. I don't really think any cup drivers should be allowed to run in this series during the playoffs.

Cup drivers aren't allowed to run in lower series playoff races. Xfinity playoffs haven't started yet.
