Talladega has always favored the lead car. Daytona has produced far more late passes it seems. Likely due to the handling characteristics...

Still think they should have just made the segments known to the teams before each race and just reward the points as they go. Stopping the action when you already have cautions and red flags just makes it unnecessarily long.
