That rule has made it down to the short tracks now. And I have seen so many cars get torn up because of it.

It leaves everything open to judgement calls and race director's decisions. Another rule that's unnecessarily complicated.

Also, I approve of the Star Wars reference.

At the start of a race, they go on the flag, but you can't pass the leader.


On restarts, when you wait on the leader, you can beat the leader to the line.

Also pretty funny that Sadler got screwed because the 3 was pushing, yet the three went first at the end and came out smelling like a rose.



NASCAR is batting .1000 lately. Smdh

Seems like that just provides incentive to push a guy at the start of the race to dick him over. Chase contenders may want to take note. Might come in handy when you need to eliminate some competition.

It leaves the door wide open for exactly what dillion did. If you want to gain a spot just push the crap outta the 2nd place guy to get him penalized.

The flagman should signal the start of the restart, period.

I appreciate the star wars fandom in you

Then NASCAR will change the rule and be like "we could have never seen this happening. Btw, caution clock and heats to cup. The fans have spoken"

Same thing as Indianapolis. Sadler got penalized because one of the Dillon boys pushed him on the restart.
 
So thanks to nascars retarded idea to have 10 minute breaks between both heats and a 20 minute break before the feature there's a big rain cell near the track so this is probably a race to lap 60 :rolleyes:
