It was worth a shot.

The thing is that I guess when cars are on older tires, CCs' think they will not get off the line as well... Jones did not let the tires spin at all.

If Bowman continues to drive like he did, he will be in a full-time ride soon enough.
 
It's not that a car is better/fast on old tires. It's that compared to the rest of the field, his car lost less speed as the tires wore out. New tires are always best.

I like Alex Bowman. Hope he lands a quality full time ride in Xfinity soon. I think he moved up to Cup too soon and clearly the equipment at BKR isn't a good way to display your talent.

I know what better on old tires means. So does Kiante.

New tires were not best at the end today. That's what makes these late race strategy calls so interesting. All jmo, of course.
 
Just got a chance to watch the race. Toyotas beat up some bowties.
Erik Jones is that good.
Hell of a run for Bubba!
I was hoping for a better day for Suarez.
 
Erik Jones is the real deal, I believe he's the best chance remaining we'll have to pull off the Trucks, Xfinity, Cup triple crown.
