I thought Newman did well in those circumstances but I think Newman is more of a grinder and who knows what the ceiling is with Reddick.

Lets face it, the #3 wasn't the best car on track with Earnhardt behind the wheel but he did make it a winning car. I like that Childress showed loyalty to the whole team by promoting them, it worked for Penske.
Newman's style has served him well, being a grinder has kept him employed
even though he hasn't had the best equipment. I always wondered what his career would have been had he NOT been paired with Rusty. Should have had "Front Row Joe"
