Xfinity RACE thread --- Iowa

I can’t even tell why Justin was mad, I was having to watch on my phone so it was hard to really tell.

Let's see him win the Xfinity title first!
Yeah Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon have close to 200 wins between them & would not have gotten there without the experience of winning a busch series championship.

Not my point at all. I'd like to see it happen. I see that didn't occur to you when you posted.

Bell is a tremendous talent. Starting to justify following Byron as a one and done to Cup next year.

Yeah Bell in the 77 would be good, I really don't think Bell cares that much when, they aren't stopping him from racing in the dirt, they aren't that stupid. Blaney can't...Penske.

Watched delayed and caught up just as overtime finished.

GREAT final restart, all sorts of contact and everyone up front held on. Clean racing after that.

I LOVE this track.

Not everyone is a Jeff or Jimmie.
There are plenty more examples of drivers pushed to Cup too soon.

He apparently took my post as saying that Bell NEEDS an Xfinity title to prove he is ready to move to Cup. Imo, he could replace Denny Hamlin now, and I would be happy with the move. All I was saying is that I would really like to see him close the deal and hoist the championship trophy over his head in Miami.

I’d like to see the kid get some more Xfin seat time. There’s a lot of great young talent out there. Seems KBM and JGR have a knack for recognizing these fast kids.

kyle busch has a nationwide championship, and now has 191 wins to himself, just think how many more wins jj and jg would have if the would have stayed in the lower ranks an extra year.

Cole Custer is Terrible.

Terrible, no. Average, yes. Considering the equipment he's had his whole career his stats are pretty average but he's talented enough to make it to cup at least. Honestly the whole Xfinity lineup right now excluding Bell and IMO Ross Chastain are good but not great drivers. Id consider Cindric, Hemric, Brandon Jones, Custer, all in the good but not great category; Gragson in trucks slides into this category as well. Allgaier is too old and I really don't see any guy except maybe Ryan Preece, Reddick, or JHN that is a transcendent talent or has huge potential in cup

Bell and Hemric need some part time cup ride experience hopefully next year. Hemric doesn't have the equipment Bell has, but he continuously out drives both of the Dillion's
