Xfinity RACE thread --- Michigan

Just saw a photo of a restart and, is it just me, or are the tracks taking out their best seats when they downsize? All the seats on the frontstretch, I can't imagine you can see much. Maybe someone who is there might have a different perspective.

The finish was still pretty fun to watch.

Yeah that is lame! Remove seats into the corners, not prime high up spots... smh.

Last week Ryan Blaney gets his first win in the Cup Series and goes old school with the polish victory lap. Denny Hamlin this weeks wins a Xfinaty race and has to do a burn out. Lol.

Denny is the MAN. he can beat up on a 18 Y/O!

Byron will win one. Still though...****** lame

No kidding, on a 2-mile track no less. I'd much rather build up than out. That can't be much more than ~ 25 rows.

I mean, even in 2004 when these races were selling out, fans didn't want those seats.

It's like "Hey, we're going to tear out the seats we did sell because they have good views and expect fans to pay for these ground level seats". This isn't baseball.

That there Hambone (or whatever other extremely clever nick name for Hamlin inserted here) hadda a cheated up tieyoder with a hidden lever he pult so he could go faster’n dem development drivers bein’ like Sadler ‘n such.

Make that 11 of 13 Xfinity races won by Cuppers this year.

What are you talking about? Most of these kids have a BK Racing ride in Cup to look forward to being fired from halfway through their rookie year.

They should be honored to finish 5th behind Busch, Keselowski, Hamlin and others. They're learning so much!

As far as I can tell that's the way the frontstretch looked back in the 90s when I was a regular. Never was very tall.

Thank god 29 time Cup winner Denny Hamlin was here today. Just what the series needed. Its what the fans want!

Cup drivers are truly needed in this series. Would have been huge for Byron had he won and still is although he lost. Doing that against a Xfinity regular just wouldn't mean as much.

heck yeah especially when they count all the points and money they lose all season long..yeah they learn a lot watching elite cup drivers and crews take opportunities away.

Brad Keselowski is a freaking great mentor to younger drivers.

You always see him talking to the Xfinity guys if they best him or he goes and talk to them. Its becoming hard not to root for Brad.

Brad is freaking awesome. Gives a lot back to the Truck Series and truly cares about the state of the sport.

Just wish he'd stop running the 22 so much.

Penske announced last year they were going to run two cars..didn't happen. So He's running Kez, Logano and Blaney and now Hornish in one car. :idunno:. Compare that to the Gibbs though? three cars today.
