The reason Nascar waited so long to throw the caution? worked out pretty good, looks like three backmarkers at the same time needed one.

100% agreed. DJ is awesome.

Burton says "I don't know how he saved that car!" as Briscoe gets squirrelly. Hey Jeff, he saved it because he's a professional race car driver, that's how. You don't need to act super impressed by every little thing and you don't need to act like everything is the most important or the hardest or matters the most.

Burton is insufferable, and that's putting it nicely.
 
Daniel Hemric is this generations JJ Yeley. Pretty good driver, just snake bitten and can't get a NASCAR win lol.

Also, DJ is by far NBC's best analyst. Put him in the booth with Ralph Sheehen doing play by play, keep Jr. In the booth. Send Rick Allen, Letarte, and Burton on the first space force mission

Oh god no Ralph Sheehen is beyond annoying
 
With no local yellows and the Lightning clock, wouldn't be surprised if this race literally takes all day.
 
How are they going to run rain tires when this will happen?
 
Well hopefully the rain isn’t a downpour. You can’t really race in anything besides moderate rain no matter what series. The track started to flood in spots and had rivers running across other portions last week.
 
sooo much strategy....put on rain tires....take em off....when to do it....
 
Wonder if NBC has a plan B in mind with this race, since it's going to start crowding into Michigan Cup race coverage. Probably about 2 hours of racing left in the Xfinity race.

Level 1:The decision on these modified pit-road procedures was made in January for most stand-alone events in trucks and Xfinity ... they want to see how it works to potentially see if the strategy adds to the race and if it could be a way to save $$.
