Xfinity RACE thread --- Watkins Glen

That's what Kyle said in response when Claire B. told him what Brad said, "Waa." Added that nobody bitched from JGR/Toytoa when Penske was winning early. "We just got to work." Brad is really skewed up over this. :D

Maybe Brad needs some pointers from the best there is

Kyle doesn't have a blog. Brad likes blogs. Tells the world how it is when maybe he should be telling Ford that he doesn't like them.

I don't have an issue with Kyle, he's a damn good driver, but man, I do hope he gets his 10 Xfinity wins in a hurry so that we can see someone else take his spot in the Xfinity Series. It's annoying to always see Cup guys taking points and wins away from the Xfinity regulars when the Cup guys are not really competing for the driver's title.

Always knew that Byron was cheated up. ;)

Lol a yota homer talking about Byron beating cheated up? Not even gonna get into this one I'm going back to bed

I really tried to get in to the race but just couldn't with the wackers wacking.

One take away I did get though - Bagman needs a spot in the booth. That was a breath of fresh air.

Do you know where I can see this interview? Lol

Only 2 pages for a race at a road course huh?

Yeah, and Cup guys bring an audience to this series LOL

There's three pages for this thread..same as last week. And lucifer Busch wasn't running last week

Sirius/XM Radio. They replay broadcasts if you have it.

Doing the math, 2019 will be his last at the earliest. NASCAR is stretching the agony out for ya. Send them your thanks.

Of course no cars to R&D. Anybody wanna guess why?

Because everybody knows that NASCAR loves Kyle Busch. What do I get for winning besides the satisfaction of a Kyle Damn Busch victory? Never mind, that's enough for me.

Let's see, spins out, and later gets penalized for driving thru too many pit stalls and wins the race over a second ahead of second place. Now to the Buschkateers, that is just the fantastic Kyle Damn Busch's driving skills. To the rest of us, ANY driver doing that? Their car should have been looked at. Every race track in the country would have done that. Nascar for whatever reason, turned a blind eye. It is what it is, but it isn't good business IMO.

Not the first time Rowdy has pulled off stuff like this !!! I noticed long ago that he can wheel a damned race car !!! saw him go to the back TWICE at a nationwide race and win ............ watching him work traffic was something to behold. Its no accident that he does well on road courses ........... they are drivers tracks

What NASCAR really should do, if they just really want to keep the Cup guys in the Xfinity Series, is choose a few allocated races for the Cup guys to compete in. As we have seen so far, this rule that they put in place this season obviously has loopholes. As a matter of fact, I read somewhere that the Cup guys have taken more wins and top-fives this season than they have in years past. All the rule has done is enable the team owners to put in more Cup drivers for more races, therefore, taking more wins away from the regulars.

When I say that NASCAR should choose a few races, I mean they should literally choose i.e. the season opener at Daytona, the X race at Charlotte, etc. That way the team owners can't have three different Cup drivers driving the same car throughout the year, like Blaney, Logano, and Keselowski have done with the 22. Instead, they have to find some new guys to give some seat time to for the remainder of the season that was not set aside for the Cup guys.

Just an idea. Thoughts?

Agree and I've had a similar idea in the thread they posted the new limits in. I think 10 Cup Invitationals as another poster put it would be perfect. They have to drive a car that doesn't run full-time and have their own points against each other with bonus $$$ going to the driver with the most points throughout the 10 races. Gives Xfinity drivers 10 opportunities to race against Cup drivers and give Cup drivers a legitimate reason to race in the series since they can't run for the championship. Only true fix in my opinion.

Yes, that would work! It sounds like the Cup guys would have their own Dash4Cash races. ;) Seems like a perfect balance to me. 10 out of 33 races... not bad. That would give the Xfinity regulars 23 races to duke it out with one another. The idea would work in favor of the Cup drivers and Xfinity drivers. :)

I just saw a tweet saying this was the shortest race(time wise) in NASCARs modern era. 2hrs 7 minutes
