XX days of off-season on the wall...

I haven't seen Danica cause wrecks and I haven't seen her driving all over people. Only she can bring the deep pockets of GoDaddy to the sport, so the team she drives for owes it's existance to her.

I don't see a problem.

90 days to the 500. Final F1 race of the year today. I don't follow F1 but I may watch this one. So I decided to check out who's in the top ten. The points gap from 1st to 2nd is 119 points! So Vettel is already the champ. That's the one reason I think the Chase is good, to avoid that situation.

Also just noticed there is not one American driver in F1. Who the eff do I root for then? :D

Yep Vettel Clinched the Championship back in Japan.....with FOUR races left in the season He Ripped everyone in F1 a new @$$hole.
Todays race in Brazil comes on at 10:30am et since its in Brazil I'll pull for Felipe Massa he's American by the way.

Felipe isn't as good as Alonso. And Ferrari isn't good this year period.

McLaren is the company with the good stuff right now as far as people and things.

Look for the two Vodafone cars to be competitive.

F1 TV coverage would be so much better if they showed a lot of in-car camera footage.

Yeah butt Alonso did'nt get hit in the head by a spring at 200mph.

I would say that ..that pic makes a lot of the crap you get on this forum worthwhile.:beerbang:

Thanks guys. Yes, I get a lot of abuse being a Danica fan on a lot of forums....LOL:)

You will never get any abuse from me. I have always liked Danica.

Me too! I have some serious doubts about her ability to handle an 800hp CUP car, however.

I think she will do OK in N'wide. Maybe even snatch a win. We shall see...

Good luck, Miss Thang!

FOUL!

That wasn't even a Freudian slip. :owquitit:

Thats because some of the posters here are full of crap. :D

Danica will be better than people say she will. I truly believe she can win in Nascar.

Some? ;) Most? All? :D

I hope she does well too. Time will tell.

Does anyone know if Danica has had any offers or ever considered getting in a truck? I would love to see her in the truck series.

Now, if she says "I've been giving to these guys all year, and now I'm calling in markers", that would be snatching a win. :beerbang:

Interesting article on the Busch brothers...

"I have a confession to make.
I made a mistake and I am willing to admit it. Now I am asking for those who goofed along with me -- sponsors, team owners, fans, fellow media members, everyone -- to join me, step forward, own our mistake and declare that we've had enough.
The Busch brothers, Kurt and Kyle, fooled me."

Here is a great paragraph from that article.

But spare me the comparisons to A.J. Foyt, Dale Earnhardt and Tony Stewart. Don't you dare invoke the names of Bobby and Donnie Allison, or even contemporaries such as Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards.

Yes, they've all had their moments. In some cases they had their seasons. But they also all -- no matter how far down their low points may have reached -- managed to finally achieve some sort of balance. At some stage in their career they grew up. They began to appreciate all that they had been blessed with instead of believing that we should all feel blessed to be in their presence.

I'm liking your countdown, StewartFan. I can't wait to see a wrecked #83 tomorrow. :D

and now my tradition of pictures of wrecked race cars:D
