Cup RACE thread --- Homestead

Karma??? He's 26 and took 2nd in the Chase. I'll enjoy watching him win races and a championship or two in the next 15 years.

Karma Karma Karma Karma, well you get it to lazy, and bandwidth conscious to keep repeating, at least karma pretend conscious

But KARMA anyhow....

Well I can't be terribly upset. I wanted the 22 and then the 48. At least we don't have to hear how great the Toy cars are seeing they finished 3rd and 4th.

so flat tire with no debris = immediate yellow but car sliding backwards down the track = wait a half a lap and see what happens

They were waiting on master Ricky Stendhouse to manhandle his car.

Am I the only one that feels like that race was stacked for the 22.

Three years in a row it's taken a win to capture the title. I don't really care about anyone else's opinion, I like this format. I watch racing to be entertained. This race was very entertaining.

Would it have been less entertaining to let the race play out and be a battle between Larson and Edwards with old tires?

Agree completely.

It will take me a few days until I can remember we now have 3 seven-time Champions:partytime.
Congratulations to Jimmie and the #48 team.
Smoke says goodbye with a 22th place and Scott says goodbye with a 15th place finish. (his 6th best Cup finish ever)

Good night!

I thought this was a sport. :idunno:

Cool, NASCAR will be able to crow about inflated ratings for the end of the race. "At the telecast's peak, X million people suddenly tuned in to watch the final laps hoping the race would end so they could watch a football pregame / highlights show."
