He doesn't, that was racing. Sometimes racing get a heated. They don't need to "grow up" or "learn" anything.

Are you trying to debate that there weren't consequences? He would have easily won Martinsville and been in the final four. The guy said Joey never has to face consequences for his actions. I'd say having a for sure win taken away is a consequence...

Ur right.. I just dont think thats reason enough to change the eay he drives. No one has been turned by Joey who didnt have it coming and vise versa... But it really doesn't impact that much in the long run

Joey also finished 3rd at Homestead that year.. Am I to believe he would have had a faster car had he made the championsip four?
 
Hindsight, I hope this turns into a good rivalry rather than fizzle out by next week like we are used to. The race was a borefest & nascar desperately needs something interesting going on.

And he deserved to have it taken way because he doesn't have respect for his fellow competitors. NASCAR should have stepped in and penalized Joey for Kansas. They did not. Matt Kenseth enforced the penalty.

Funny how it went from 'yay Joey dumped Kyle, Kyle deserved it' to 'Joey couldn't handle the turn'.....took a few hours to get the story straight.

Would you rather Joey and Kyle settle their differences Mano y Mano on pit road today or for the next 3 weeks on the track?

Why is it wrong for a competitor to do what the sanctioning body SHOULD have done? Please explain. The fans sure thought it was the right thing to do, and I am sure many of the other competitiors were in agreement. Plain and simple, you either learn how to race clean, or you are reminded that it is your duty to do so. Joey needed a reminder then, and he needs one for today. I sincerely hope Kyle retaliates and makes sure that Joey gets the message.
