Full military honors were rendered.
A totally awesome ceremony. I've seen it on TV, but in real life it's just mind-blowing.

That's great TRL. It's all we expected it to be.

When the band played the Navy hymn --- that's when I really lost it.
I can imagine. They interred my uncle that was a well decorated USMC Sgt. Major there. It was a very touching service for sure.

I'm guessing Mangrove Buckeyes, never seen those before.. beautiful. I've been trying to figure out if I have any milk weed cause the Monarchs come thru here following the river. Letting the weeds grow isn't hard for me to do.

I couldn't find out what they were either but I think you're right. They were in a huge private butterfly garden outside of Buffalo NY.

Sorry @Clutch as you may never speak to me again but I thought of you when I saw this beautiful HQ Sandman smashed to bits. One of my cousins on the gold coast in Queensland posted these pics on FB and I just about went in a corner and cried. It had spent most of its life in NZ and was recently brought back to Australia and restored before getting caught in a death wobble on the back of a trailer.

That....is a tragedy. Love those Holdens. They are rare indeed today.

Wonderful pictures....... I know you are very proud....

I am glad you got to see General Robert E. Lee's house...... it won't be long before it will be on the list of Confederate memorials to be torn down.... :(

Up in Rarotonga for a few days with the wife. She just came home from Canada 3 days but my turn for a break now. (With her)

Love this pic. All our city boat ramps have this sign to remind us to be a responsible skipper.....and avoid excessive alcohol whilst driving your boat. Lol.
Good old NZ.

Got back from a five day vacation to Branson, Missouri. We've been there countless times so I didn't take many pictures, but we've never stayed at this resort. It's on the Western edge of Table Rock Lake. The scenery was top notch and really makes me miss living in the Ozarks, even though I am only a four hour drive away.
