Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Gonna be odd to not have Dale Earnhardt or Dale Earnhardt, Jr in a race anymore after Homestead. Glad to see Junior is finishing out the season with some top 10's so it's not totally 2009 and can go out with some decent finishes. Hopefully they can get one last good run in the Bud scheme.

Right in the feels..... wow. I’d like to Send some shade to Teresa because after viewing this it’s an absolute shame that Jr didn’t drive his whole career in a Red 8, this video confirms that. So many memories!

I remember watching the 2001 Pepsi 400 thinking I'm witnessing some kind of divine intervention going on right now. Simply amazing.
I got goosebumps now when the Bud video showed Jr winning that race...the same goosebumps I got in 2001 watching that race as a 15 year old kid cheering wildly with his family. I gotta watch that race on YouTube sometime this week along with his Bristol Goody’s 500 win.

I need a definitive Jr watch list , I’m determined to watch a race of his he won once a day up until Sunday. List starts and ends with 2001 Pepsi 400....then 2004 Goody’s 500 @Bristol , The 2000 Primestar 500 from Texas his first win, the 2000 Winston, 2001EA Sports 500 at Talladega, 2004 Checker Auto Parts 400 from Phoenix....so many to pick from.

Miss that red 8 so much, the car that got me into NASCAR. My name on here may be GT88UT, but honestly it will be be Get that 8 Up There !
Sunday might be a hard day for me, but I just don't want to think it will. Jr's last race, and Brad and Truex have a shot at the title? I'm going to be on edge all day long

Aw man, now I'm crying like a baby.

To be honest, love him or hate him for not "living up to expectations", he was/is a fantastic wheelman and a even bigger ambassador for the sport.

There will not be a dry eye at the track or watching on TV, don't pay attention to it all race, but I enjoyed watching Jr for his career barring the ups and downs. Can't wait to see what the future holds for him and his family.

Hope he continues to be involved with the sport and stick around the Hendrick mother ship like Gordon is doing.

Personally I would have been better off not knowing.
yea kind of takes away some of the special meaning of that video. Man shes really terrible, the 8 is Jr's legacy she shouldnt be entitled to anything from it.

Every single time i see that replay i get goosebumps. That and seeing the black #3 and every crewman on pit road in 1998. My two favorite memories of nascar.

both of them get to me every single time.

I have always wondered what Nascar would have been like if Dale Sr. had retired and run DEI.
I think Nascar would be better off today if he had.

What a cool video. Classy from Budweiser. Some great times in that 8 car. As a few have already mentioned that 2001 Pepsi 400 at Daytona was such a special night. I remember me and my dad screaming at the t.v. during those final laps, then both of us in tears after the checkers. I still get misty watching replays of it.
It's been a fun ride over the years cheeringb for him. There was some real low periods for sure. Multiple year winless droughts. But it made the good times even more special. The 4 win 2014 season with Letarte on the box was great.
One more ride in Sunday.....

It only feels like yesterday that he was about to run his last race in the 8 car. Hard to believe that's already been 10 years ago. I love that video, but I'm a sucker for nostalgic stuff like that. I was never a big fan of his, but I will kind of miss him.

Such a shame to see how that B@@@h has treated Dale's own children...... You can bet Taylor Nicole wants for nothing........ I can't imagine anyone being happy with themselves the way she has acted after Sr.s death..... If she is..... more power to her.....

That is the part I am really interested in. Hoping Earnhardt can get in the booth and move the NBC announcing forward. I think he can do as much or more for the sport out in front of the fans.

He should be better than hipster Rutledge Wood. and hopefully better than Burton..... in all seriousness I Think him and Steve will kill it in the booth, but there's still that Rick Allen thing going on
