TV Shows

Thanks. Been surfing the web for a little while and it appears lots of people are pissed off about the show being canceled.
They don’t make that contact info very obvious on the website. I understand NBC owns USA.
I told them to stick to the Law and Order reruns and leave real programming to the networks that people actually watch. :)

@BobbyFord you and I are SOL when it comes to Damnation. It's been cancelled.

I'm only 6 deep on this series first season and it's damn good. It's a shame that it didn't get more support. We can only hope that another network can possibly pick this up and continue the story elsewhere.

‘Damnation’ canceled by USA after one season

http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/more-tv-news/damnation-canceled-by-usa-after-one-season/

After raking in some okay numbers with its premiere, the series experienced a significant drop in its viewership throughout the rest of the first season, averaging only a 0.2 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and 682,000 viewers.

Those are terrible numbers.

Duh!! moment, I forgot about THe Olympics being on NBC in primetime, explains why it seems like every show has gone into hiatus mode till the end of the month

Paramount Network use to be called Spike TV which used to be The National Network which used to The Nashville Network.
Is that like Freeform which used to be ABC Family which used to be Fox Family which used to be The Family Channel which used to be CBN?

Finally had the opportunity to finish off the season last night. Damn, this is really a loss of an excellent show. Too bad so few took the time to watch. Would have been an excellent Netflix production though.

Just in time for Halloween, Ash Vs The Evil Dead returns this week for Season 3.

Not sure if there are any Sneaky Pete fans out there but I see that it's second season starts on Amazon Prime March 9th.

Only one episode left. :(

Best show on TV in years. Taylor Kitsch's performance deserves all the Emmys.
Best show? IDK, but it's worth a watch.

Edit: I didn't realize that is who that was. Watched FNL for years and that never crossed my mind who that was playing him. Interesting.

He's been a great actor.

Melissa Benoist:wub: and Andrea Riseborough have been effective at humanizing the women held up in the Waco compound too.

Being used to seeing Melissa Benoist play Supergirl, I was waiting for her character (Rachel Koresh) to put out the fire and get everyone to safety.

What an extraordinary series and a gut-wrenching finale.

This one looks interesting. I'm a fan of some of AMC's shows. DVR set.

Yeah, saw the trailer last night and set the DVR as well.

Just finished Altered Carbon on Netflix that I thought was awesome.

Homeland has been great as usual. And season 3 of Billions starts on March 25th.:D

Lots of good stuff on the telly now and starting shortly:D.

I have Altered Carbon in my watch list. I've not seen the other two that you've mentioned.

The Terror looks like something I'll like, but not the wife.

The Terror looks awesome!

If you could, let me know what you think about Altered Carbon if you watch it. If you think it sucks, I won't be offended:D.

Both Billions and Homeland are on Showtime and are fantastic IMO. Gonna take some binge-watching to catch up, however.

Cheers!

The first episode of Homeland.

In the Homeland series premiere, a CIA case officer (Claire Danes) becomes suspicious that a Marine Sergeant rescued from captivity has been turned into a sleeper agent by Al Qaeda. Starring Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin. [TV14] Order SHOWTIME now!: http://s.sho.com/1HbTNpQ.

HOMELAND is an edge-of-your-seat sensation. CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is tops in her field despite being bipolar, which makes her volatile and unpredictable. With the help of her long-time mentor Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), Carrie fearlessly risks everything, including her personal well-being and even sanity, at every turn. You won't be able to turn away from this gripping, emotional thriller in which nothing short of the fate of our nation is at stake.

The Terror, I might have to watch that, it sounds very interesting.

Designated Survivor. Started out great, was hooked on the first season. But it has not held up at all. We half ass watched it until the winter break, but haven't even gone back. Just completely uninteresting now.

Awesome. Thought maybe I was the only one watching. We're probably going to watch the last show from last season before starting the next.

I'm trying to wait for my wife to get back from a trip to watch this. It's difficult :D. Have you watched S2 yet?

Haven't started S2 yet. We did re-watch the finale of S1 to get ready but We may be pushing some of these shows a little down the road while we take in some of the NCAA Tournament. We will get to Sneaky Pete though. It'll be our next show to take in.
