You are correct. Leathal Weapon is the **** and Orvill has been surprisingly good.

I really thought LW was going to suck, and turn out to be just like Rush Hour on CBS, I was wrong, its good , I like the calls back they are doing to the movies, but changing them up , like Riggs driving his truck in to the house, I hope they do their version of the bomb under the toilet. I am very happy they are not dragging out the dead wife sub plot for Rigs.

The Orville, I am really surprised I like The Orville, as I was never a fan of Star Trek , but maybe thats why, its not Star Trek, its not a stuffy sci fi show, it has very good mix of humor and drama, love it.

Agree with everything. Rush Hour show sucked and I had that fear for Leathal Weapon as well. Same with Orville, never seen any Star Trek but the show is good.

I'm only two deep into this series. I like it so far. I may just let the DVR record the season and then start over.

The viewing habits in our home have changed so much over the years. Outside of a couple comedies, the news and mainly sports, there's barely anything that we watch on network television anymore. We mainly watch Netflix, Amazon & a few cable network shows. What is being broadcast on CBS, ABC, NBC & FOX these days as their normal programming, we simply don't find all that interesting or entertaining.
 
Damnation is one of my favorite shows at the moment. Awesome storyline, great actors, and Amelia.:wub:

Finished season 4 of Peaky Blinders.The biggest disappointment for me is season 5 isn't airing until 2019.:( One of the best TV shows ever! Don't **** with the Peaky Blinders!:D

Solid documentary about the real Peaky Blinders.

It's an excellent and very stylish series. I haven't tackled Season 4 yet, but I've watched the first three. I thought the third season was a bit uneven, but still great in parts. I'm not actually fan of Tom Hardy's much-hyped role, and I like him in almost everything else he does. Speaking of Hardy, you should check out Taboo as well if you haven't. I'm looking forward to see how Adrien Brody stacks up as an adversary in S4.

The last several shows I've watched:

Stranger Things (S2): B+ (less polished than the first season, but that was a high bar)
Mindhunter (S1): B (finished much stronger than it started, which is a good sign for a S2)
The Deuce (S1): A-
The Americans (S5): A (every season of this has been great, it's one of the best on TV)
Fargo (S3): B-
American Horror Story (S7): C+ (didn't really have a coherent take on the subject matter, but lots of fun)
Sneaky Pete (S1): A (I haven't purely enjoyed any show more than this one in years)

Season 4 was epic.I think it took around 3 weeks for me and the gl to watch seasons 1-4. Brody was great, but the toothpick was annoying.:lol2: Cillian Murphy and the whole cast is awesome.

Paramount Network use to be called Spike TV which used to be The National Network which used to The Nashville Network.
 
Epic season finale of Damnation. Can't wait for season two and to see what happens between Amelia and Connie. I just hope Amelia is OK.:wub: :lol2: I had my doubts about this show, so I'm sure glad I gave it a shot, cause it's awesome!

I've got all of these recorded but only watched the first episode. Reads like it's worth the time.
 
Anyone been watching Waco on Paramount Network?

I want to hate Koresh's wife in this but it's so hard to hate a character when said character is being portrayed by nice, cute, pretty Melissa Benoist. :wub:
 
So, I finally decided to watch Breaking Bad......I'm up to the 5th episode of season 1. Pretty good show I guess. I'm always late to like every show.
 
The tv shows these days are just as bad as the the movies for me. I'm just not entertained much by them anymore. My favorite comedy sitcom was Two and a Half Men with Charlie Sheen in it which I still enjoy watching the reruns. Moms is my next favorite. The Black List and the Americans are my favorite drama shows... Everything else is pretty much unentertaining to me.
 
Did The CW just cancel Supergirl?

New show next Monday at 8pm, no preview of upcoming episodes, no mention of return date, nothing........
 
Its that time of the year for shows to go on hiatus , a few CBS shows are taking the rest of Feb off.

@BobbyFord you and I are SOL when it comes to Damnation. It's been cancelled.

I'm only 6 deep on this series first season and it's damn good. It's a shame that it didn't get more support. We can only hope that another network can possibly pick this up and continue the story elsewhere.

That's the only show that I think I've ever watched on that network. I don't know its popularity as compared to other networks but perhaps had this show been on a more watched network it would have done far better? I'd love to see Netflix pick this up. It seems like a show that would be one of theirs.

The only reason that I started recording it in the first place is because it was the main sponsor on x drivers car in Cup last fall. I saw a tweet on it so I set the DVR. Then I saw a post here somewhere which made me want to watch it. I told my wife this morning about the cancellation. She's po'd as well. In retrospect, it probably wasn't the best way to start her day for her.

Well, that sucks big time. Might as well quit watching now cause your gonna be disappointed to never know what happens between Amelia and Connie.:( It would be awesome if Netflix picked it up,but I seriously doubt that will happen.:(
