Hmm, I'm thinking of going, but weather looks iffy.

Well, in the 41 minutes since I posted that I decided I'm going. Pocono has a weather guarantee. It will be my first Indycar race and first race at Pocono, despite it being my 2nd closest track. I tried to get what I hope is a good seat. Section 247 row 35 seat 21.

That reminds me, are the spotter guides for Monster Cup? I wonder why nobody ever posts them.
NASCAR.com did paint scheme previews for a select few notable schemes a week, they still might. Might be too many races and too many different schemes to put it all together but I don't know for sure.

I went in 2015 and 2017 and loved it! I planned on going tomorrow but work is getting in the way. Pocono is an awesome place for Indycars!!

Yeah Inhad a day off work and decided it was a good chance, I've always wanted to go to one and especially after I went to the Indy museum back in March

Cloudy but dry here at Pocono, 2 seaters making laps right now. No ran once I got North of the Leigh Tunnel

I went on the Monday edition in 2016... Indycar at Pocono for 500 miles is one of the last true bad ass, un-neutered races left on this planet, imo.

Cloudy, breezy, 66 degrees but clouds are lightening

Big opportunity for Rossi and Newgarden today with their speed. Don't think anyone knows what the racing will be like but hopefully they manage to keep it clean.

Didnt expect them to wreck right in front of me before the green.

I dont like they haven't shown Wickens on the TV screen yet

Shades of Las Vegas....

If he's ok I don't think they'll race today anyway. The fence is totalled.

Oh goodness.

I was taking a shower and I heard the low-tone of commentators and I knew something was wrong. Man I hope everyone is okay.

Pure class interview from Ryan Hunter.

He's just concerned about Robert, he's dejected obvioisly, but he just wants more on Robert.

**** guys he’s not out of the car yet...

No footage of the extrication or him on a stretcher or anything wtf?

They said no camera angle of where he stopped.

You’d think they’d show him on the way to the ambulance. The lack of urgency didn’t concern me at first but now idk. If it was a known fatal situation we would know by now.

Pietro and Takuma were powerless after hitting the oil.

Gracious.

Looks like they are getting ready to board the helicopter. I'm not liking this.

Terrible crash. Prayers are with Robert Wickens.

Helicopter in the air 45 minutes later

Ugh this didn't look good at all, really hope Wickens is ok. I'm at the point where I wish they would skip Pocono now.

I don't really keep up with the schedule to much, and just watch them when I see they are on, and yesterday when I saw them say the Indy car was at Pocono this weekend I questioned why they still come here, and this just makes me question it even more.

After a great week with talks of Fernando coming to Indy full time, this.

God I hope he’s alright. This kid is the real deal.
