2019 Talladega I -- Geico 500 -- Pre-Race Thread

They have made a whole lot of changes to the cars for Talladega besides getting rid of the restrictor plates. No telling what is going to happen. I don't think we are going to see a bunch of dog walking tail draggers this year among other things.

For the first couple of races, at least. Hopefully never again. I'm looking forward to this race, and I've never said that about Wreckadega before.

Pretty much anything in the 300s and 400s at Daytona now you can see most, if not all, of the track. There’s a little obstruction with the Daytona 500 Club and scoring pylons but that’s about it.

As long as you're in one of the tower sections at Dega you can see the whole place. Their tower sections are basically the same height as Daytona's 300 level.

Yes, at both. High as you can get but take some Binoculars

This race right there, listening to Junior's radio, the back and forth between him, TJ and JJ was gold. It was exciting but no one would push my driver ever. The best he could possibility do was 2nd.and that is why I don't like tandem drafting.

If a driver couldn't get a push in tandem, he probably wasn't going to get one in the 'regular' draft either.
 
I propose everyone here on RF chips in and we make a giant car-shaped version of this vest for the car of Wrecky SpinsOut (formally known as Ricky Stenhouse).
